1. Acceptable Research Use
UX Testbench is intended exclusively for ethical user research, usability testing, and product evaluation. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Phishing & Credential Harvesting: Uploading prototypes or forms that simulate login portals or solicit passwords, private keys, or payment card credentials.
- Unethical Data Collection: Soliciting sensitive personal data (e.g. government IDs, biometric data, health records) without explicit ethical board / IRB approval.
- Testing on Minors: Conducting research with minors without documented parental or guardian consent.
- Malware Distribution: Uploading prototype archives containing executable scripts, malware, or exploiting browser vulnerabilities.
2. Researcher Ethical Responsibilities
As a researcher running studies on UX Testbench, you agree to:
- Clearly disclose the purpose of the study to participants before participation.
- Provide an honest estimate of the time required.
- Honor participants' rights to withdraw consent and request data deletion.
3. Moderation & Termination
The platform operators reserve the right to suspend accounts or take studies offline immediately if they violate these terms, generate abuse reports, or present a threat to participant safety.
